I received one of your 'spam' emails in my inbox about what you are doing, in particular this InterestThink seminar. Out of curiosity, I visited the links and watched videos of the past seminars. I can relate to your passion about what you are doing because I was young once. But I just want to share something with you, because I think you are a promising young man and it would be a pity if no one bothered to tell you this, or are afraid of hurting your ego. Don't waste your youth away on organising these seminars. Many singaporeans do not like to while away time attending such talks, I will be frank with you, because there is nothing in it for them. Maybe the idealistic youths who have free time will attend, so why are you wasting your energy and time on such utopian persuits? Before you think I am an ignorant and old fashioned old fogey, let me assure you that when I was in university back in the old days, I was just as idealistic as you, maybe even more, but let me tell you this, eventually when you reach my age in the golden years, you will realise that being too idealistic is not practical in the real world, so here is my advice to you: Spend your time wisely, young man.
